  COVID a word which became famous in the year 2020, has scared millions of people, killed thousands of people around the globe, and one can say it's the most popular and most hated word in the world. Well, some have lost their dear ones .Work from home has become a reality , some take it as an opportunity to invest in themselves and many more .One thing is for sure that each person has their own experience and story that they will say in the coming 15 - 20 years.One story that i heard was the craziest and funniest one. I will be happy to share it with you all.

                  Akash who is a software developer in the MNC lost his job amid the pandemic, as the companies suffered a massive loss and had to shut down, so he became job less and finding a new job was not a option at all .So he decided to go to his parents house who were in lucknow Uttar pradesh. He asked his roomate swapnil to join him, as swapnil was also from Lucknow.Swapnil, who was working in a call center and still had a job as his company offered work from home,didnt agree and said he needed to work, to which Akash replied its a WFH and he can do it from his home (lucknow).It was a win win situation for both of them and then they decided to book tickets on 27 May 2020, which was a Friday and also a good day confirmed by swapnil's dad who believes in numerology and does everything according to vastu shastra.Getting tickets was not a easy job as thousands migrants wanted to go back to their native.And we all know about the pouplation of UP.

                    After visiting multiple agents, trying to book tatkal tickets, they failed and decided to drop the plan.After a few days, Akash saw a crowd in front of the police station in his locality. He asked a guy why there's so much rush and why are they waiting here?? .The guy who was a worker (plumber ) said the government is organizing special trains that will help migrants like them to go to their native.The only criterion is that the person should be a worker who works on daily wages.Akash thought he had found a way to get to his home. He immediately rushed to his home and said everything to swapnil. Swapnil  refused, saying we are not workers and i still have a job. Are we qualified ??.Akash, with the whole plan ready, said," nah you are a rickshaw driver and I'm a delivery boy for swiggy, we will say this to the police and register us for the next train.

                        Swapnil in doubt didnt thought it was a great idea but however he went ahead with akash idea.Both visited the police station the next day and joined the queue .The queue was almost 2 km long and swapnil with a phone was woring from the crowd.The customer who spoke to swapnil that day were the most frustrated guys on the planet.Think of a call center guy who is surrounded with a couple of thousands (that too workers) around him trying to solve the customer problem.yes that was just the beginning for swapnil.After 14 hours and 12 minutes , the cops called them and asked what they did. Akash replied that he was running a panipuri shop, and Swapnil replied that he was a chaiwala. Yes, they didn't expect the cops to be real, and it would be hard to lie. They, however, managed the situation and registered for the train journey. After registration, it takes 3 full days for a call with tickets. And it was almost Wednesday evening. They had to leave on Friday, as Saturday is not a good day for the journey, remember?

                        Both were sitting outside the police station thinking, "This will be a failure." But Akash, the mastermind, convinced the Hawaldar (who was purposely sitting outside of the police station dealing with this case and asking for chai paani in return) to let them board on Friday. Bribe always works, and 500 rupees saved them with the Vastu shastra.That was a sigh of relief for Akash and Swapnil. They started informing their parents, friends, and relatives that they would be arriving on Saturday morning and would take a local auto to reach their destination. Plans like working from bagicha , playing and resting for the entire day (akash) were already in progress. Akash, the mastermind, told his mother to cook his favourite food biryani, on a Saturday afternoon. It should have been the first dish that he wanted to eat after reaching.Swapnil applied for leave on Friday and Saturday to relax and said he would continue his work on Monday. Everything was planned and set.

                    Akash, Vastu Shastra, The Mastermind Swapnil's sillyness cost a chicken three days of its life. Yes, one of the biggest incidents in the pandemic was a train to Lucknow that reached its destination after 5 days (the longest in Indian railway history). Yes, 26-hour travel became 120 hours and they reached their home on Tuesday. Swapnil was fired from his job even after trying to work from a train, but even jio has some limitations. The chicken that was killed for Akash, the mastermind, didn't serve its purpose and its Kurbaani went in vain.

Both of their friends lost their jobs, and guess what? You should never lie to cops.Akash joined his dad's panipuri shop and Swapnil started a chai shop. Bagicha is still waiting for them.The title is "Chicken" because we can at least pay tribute to it and make its life a little more worthwhile.
